The dosing however can vary from one situation to the next. Not every animal has the same receptors as others, so you will need to experiment. Always start low, you should see some results in 30-60 minutes, if you don’t increase the dose.

The basic rule is to give 1-5 mg per 10 pounds of weight. So if you have a small 15 lb dog, starting with 2 mg would be a good start. On the flip side a 100 lb dog may need 10 mg up to 50 mg to see results.

Best rule of thumb is to start low and adjust as needed.
